Deckacy Business Support
Unlocking Neuro-Inclusive Potential
At Deckacy, we believe that a truly inclusive workplace is not only a moral imperative but a significant competitive advantage. Building on the foundational, strengths-based principles of our acclaimed Dynamic Development Plan (DDP) for education, we offer a comprehensive suite of business support services designed to help organisations unlock the full potential of their neurodivergent talent.
Our Core Philosophy
Strengths-Based Employee Development
Just as we advocate for a strengths-based blueprint for pupil support in schools, we apply the same philosophy to the workplace. We help you shift the focus from "managing deficits" to championing the distinct advantages that neurodivergent individuals—including those with autism, ADHD, dyslexia, and other profiles—bring to a team.
This includes exceptional creativity, pattern recognition, problem-solving abilities, and unwavering focus.

Access to Work Grant
Eligibility and Essential Information
Before beginning the formal application for an Access to Work grant, it is vital to ensure you are fully prepared and meet the necessary criteria. To streamline this process, the client should have first visited the DDPHUB and completed the Access to Work Navigator tool.
Confirm Your Eligibility
This preparatory step is designed to ensure you have met the following essential eligibility requirements for the government grant:
- Age and Location: You must be 16 or over and live and work in England, Scotland, or Wales (a different system operates in Northern Ireland).
- Employment Status: You must be in paid work, about to start a job, or returning to work. This includes self-employment, apprenticeships, internships, and work trials. The scheme does not cover voluntary work.
- Health Condition or Disability: You must have a disability, illness, or health condition (physical or mental) that impacts your ability to perform your job or travel to and from your place of work.
Gather Essential Information
Once the Access to Work Navigator has helped you confirm your eligibility, you should gather the following essential information, which you will need for the official application:
- Your workplace address and postcode.
- The name and contact details of a workplace representative who can authorise payments (such as a line manager or HR contact).
- Your Unique Taxpayer Reference (UTR) number if you are self-employed.
